Hi, I’m Kris founder of The Bronze Room and survivor of self-tanner chaos. I tried every bottle under the sun, streaks, orange hands, splotches that looked like modern art. Then I stepped into one of those booths and, well, let’s just say it felt like a car wash for humans without the pep talk. What changed everything was a one-on-one spray tan. Someone actually talked with me, checked depth and tone, tweaked the formula for me. The colour looked natural, and I felt cared for. That feeling became The Bronze Room. My space is calm and cozy, more friend’s place than assembly line. We talk it through, handle details, and I make tiny adjustments so it suits your skin, not a template, my idea was to have my space feel more spa like a paint booth, like my living room with better lighting, what started in my bathroom with a tiny spray gun turned into passion and drive to offer a service that feels more than a one stop shop for all skin tones. BEFORE BRONZE 🤎
Exfoliate thoroughly, focusing on elbows, knees & ankle's. Shave or wax at least 24 hours before. Complete manicures, pedicures & beauty treatments beforehand. Avoid Dove, oils & heavy moisturizers. Remove any old self-tan for a smooth, even canvas. Great prep = your best bronze.

BRONZE DAY 🤎
Arrive with clean, dry skin — no lotion, oils, deodorant, perfume or makeup. Avoid showering right before your appointment. Wear loose, dark clothing and slides or loose shoes. Skip tight bras, leggings and socks that may rub your fresh tan. Come clean. Leave golden.

MAINTAIN THE BRONZE 🤎
Moisturize daily with a tan-friendly lotion, use gentle body wash & pat skin dry after showering. Avoid Dove, oils, scrubs and exfoliating products. Limit hot baths, chlorine & long showers. When your tan begins to fade, gently exfoliate before your next appointment. Stay hydrated. Stay bronze.

How do I choose my colour?
You don’t have to. Every bronze is customized to your skin tone, undertone and desired result. We’ll choose the perfect blend together at your appointment.
Will my tan look orange?
Never the goal. Your solution is selected specifically for you to create a natural-looking, balanced bronze—not a one-shade-fits-all tan.
How long will my bronze last?
With proper prep and aftercare, your glow can typically last around 7–10 days. Hydrated skin and gentle products are key to a beautiful fade
Can I shower after my appointment?
Yes, but timing depends on the solution used. You’ll receive personalized rinse instructions before leaving The Bronze Room
Do you sell aftercare products?
Yes. The shop carries studio-approved aftercare and tanning essentials. Pickup is free at the studio, and orders can ship with Canada Post.
What should I avoid before my tan?
Avoid lotions, oils, deodorant, perfume and makeup immediately before your appointment. Your skin should arrive clean, dry and product-free
Will the tan stain my clothes or sheets?
Some temporary transfer from the cosmetic bronzer can happen while your tan develops. It generally washes out, but dark, loose clothing is recommended
Can I spray tan for a special event?
Absolutely. For weddings, vacations and special occasions, booking your tan about 1–2 days before the event usually gives the colour time to fully develop and settle
How do I make my bronze last longer?
Moisturize daily, pat your skin dry after showering, avoid harsh exfoliation and use gentle, tan-friendly products. Your aftercare matters just as much as your appointment
Is every tan customized?
Yes. That’s the Bronze Room difference. Your colour is selected around your skin, your undertone and your vision for your glow.
Do I have to be completely undressed?
Not at all, your comfort comes first, You can wear whatever level of coverage feels right for you, and we’ll work around your preference
